We’d like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined us at Thrive Sabah 2025. Your presence, openness, and shared commitment made this gathering deeply encouraging. It’s inspiring to see professionals from multiple disciplines and mental health changemakers from across Sabah come together — not just to talk about mental health, but to sustain purposeful dialogue and collaboration moving forward.
Our event write-up is here — and don't mind the photos below - we try not to over expose our guests.

25th October | 9am - 12pm | SICC Level 5
📅 October 25th, 9am - 12pm
📍 Level 5, Dinawan Room, SICC, Kota Kinabalu
This inaugural event marks the beginning of our mission to build a mental health–centered platform rooted in collaboration, care, and shared purpose.
Whether you're here as a changemaker, practitioner, or simply curious to learn more, this event is about purposeful connection. We promise - This is worth your Saturday.

We believe this seat is yours to fill. RSVP today, and let us know if you’ll be bringing a guest so we can reserve your places together.
This session is a guided-dialogue forum, not a single-speaker talk. It will be hosted with a clear agenda and facilitated segments to keep things focused and useful. Everyone in the room is invited to participate and be heard — do come with an open mind. Our aim is that you leave with newfound connections and insights.
This isn’t a stage-and-audience event. It’s a shared table where your voice matters as much as anyone else’s. Each participant will have space to exchange real stories, insights, and experiences that shape Sabah’s mental health landscape.
Whether you’re working in counselling, HR, education, or community advocacy, this is your opportunity to let others know what’s happening on your end — and discover others walking a similar path. Conversations often lead to collaborations that continue long after the event ends.
This inaugural gathering marks the beginning of something larger — a continuing dialogue for changemakers across Sabah who believe mental health deserves more than awareness alone. Join us in shaping what sustained progress can look like together.
From counsellors to psychologists to wellness coaches — if your work supports emotional wellbeing, this is a space to connect with others equally committed to elevating the field in Sabah.
You’re at the heart of shaping awareness and resilience from the ground up. This is your opportunity to share challenges, ideas, and initiatives that strengthen your community’s mental health support.
Whether you lead, volunteer, or simply care deeply about mental health in your community, you belong in this conversation. Every voice contributes to a more connected and compassionate Sabah.
If you’re building healthier organisations through HR or leadership roles, join others who are integrating workplace mental health and Employee Assistance Programmes (EAP) into company culture, training, and policy.
This session is a guided-dialogue forum rather than a single-speaker talk. It will be hosted by Sheena (Founder, Thrive Elevate) and run on a clear agenda with facilitated segments to keep things focused and useful. Everyone in the room contributes—educators, counsellors, NGO leads, HR/EAP practitioners, and community allies—so please come with an open mind and be ready to share and listen.
As the series grows, we’ll feature guest speakers and panels in future editions. For this inaugural session, the emphasis is on peer insight, practical exchange, and meaningful connections. Your perspectives will inform future topics and formats (without placing the burden on participants).
While some of you have already received a personal heads-up, participant invitations has officially rolled out on the 10th of October 2025, World Mental Health Day — timed closer to the event so it’s easy to save the date and add it to your calendar.
