Following Thrive Sabah 2025, we’re keeping the momentum going and starting the year with a simple brunch gathering — a chance to reconnect, bring everyone back to the table, and continue the conversations we began. And for those who couldn’t make it to Thrive Sabah, we hope you’ll join us this time.
Plates & Perspectives is a seasonal gathering hosted by Thrive Elevate for mental-health changemakers. With no slides or formal presentations — just brunch and good conversations — it’s a space to connect, exchange perspectives, and keep each other’s upcoming work on the radar.
Decoding Gen Alpha @ SICC
A focused, high-value learning session with Alan Oh, Counselling Psychologist at Gleneagles Hospital Kota Kinabalu. This session helps adults better understand Generation Alpha — how they think, communicate, and experience the world — and why parents play a central role as key facilitators in supporting their children’s development alongside educators.
Taking place on Saturday, 7 February 2026, this session is designed for parents, educators, and school leaders who want to move beyond guesswork and outdated assumptions. While schools and teachers provide structure and guidance, parents remain the most consistent and influential facilitators in a child’s life, shaping how Gen Alpha learns, copes, and connects.
